FAQs

Whitewashed Wood
  • Faux florals and greenery on a base of deco mesh, grapevine, straw or foam. Wreaths are made in a smoke-free, pet-free shoppe.

  • I like to work with faux florals and greenery. They look lifelike, come in amazing colors and textures, and they don’t wilt or die. Some wreath designs may contain real elements such as pinecones, seed pods, bunny tails or other dried textural items. If a design contains real items, they will be listed in the product description.

  • Yes, please contact me with your special request and I’ll do my best to help bring your vision to life. If you own a business, I can do a themed wreath to match your business or if you have an upcoming special event, ceremony, celebration or memorial I can do that too. I work mainly with 14-16” wreath forms that result in a 24”-28” finished product but I can do larger or smaller wreaths if needed. A non-refundable 50.00 deposit is required to get your custom order started. Custom order processing time depends on your needs and my schedule and will vary with each order.

  • Yes, you can cancel your custom order, but the 50.00 deposit is non-refundable. A custom order is made just for you, it requires considerable thought, time and effort. I may have ordered special items or traveled to find just the right materials for your custom wreath that I can’t return or re-use. The time I spend on your order is time that I’m not spending on someone else’s order. For these reasons the deposit is non-refundable.

  • Customer satisfaction is important to me. If you experience a problem with your order, please contact me immediately and I’ll work with you to resolve any issues you might have. I personally make each wreath and inspect them before they ship, every effort has been made to produce a beautiful wreath that will bring you joy.

  • Wreaths purchased in my online store will ship in 1-3 days. Once your wreath ships you should receive it in 5-10 days. This is an estimate, and unfortunately, I cannot guarantee the arrival date. I don’t have control over how the carrier handles the shipment once it leaves my shoppe. Custom order processing time depends on the order but once completed it will follow the same shipping schedule unless other arrangements have been made.

  • Wreaths are shipped via UPS or FedEx in large boxes.  Wreaths are secured to the bottom of the box with zip ties or chenille stems.  You will need to cut these ties or stems to remove your wreath from the box.

  • Wreaths aren’t just for doors and porches; you can hang a wreath anywhere you want to brighten up a space, the possibilities are endless! They look beautiful hung as a focal on bare walls, above a fireplace or a mantle. Incorporate one into a family photo wall collage. How about a laundry room, kitchen or on a pantry door, what about an office space or den. A wreath would look nice above a bed as the focal in a master suite or add that special touch to a guest room. A themed wreath would be fun in a child’s room too, but please note you should never-ever hang a wreath or any other object above a child’s crib.

  • No. Some items on your wreath may be water resistant, but not all items are. You can hang your wreath outside but if left out in the elements like direct sun, rain, wind and snow, over time it will start to look tattered. The colors may eventually fade and if subjected to moisture the colors may bleed. Drastic temperature changes could cause attachments to loosen. If this happens, use a little hot glue to re-attach them. If hanging outdoors try to hang your wreath under an awning, eve, or porch it will give it some protection and help it last longer. If you hang your wreath on an exterior door and you know the weather is going to be cruddy, just bring it inside until the weather event is over. If you hang your wreath indoors your wreath will last for many years.

  • Gently dust it off with a clean dry paint brush or you can use a hairdryer set on low or cool to blow the dust off. This also works if you have it hanging outside and it gets pollen on it. Another option is to use one of those small cans of compressed air that are used for cleaning computer keyboards. If the wreath or bows flatten from storage or shipping you can gently re-shape and fluff them and it will look as good as new.

  • You can store your wreath in the box it came in, or in a plastic bag. You can also find zippered wreath storage bags online. I like to store my wreaths hanging from a closet pole with a clear plastic garbage bag over them. Closet purse hanger hooks work great for hanging wreaths and they work nice if you have more than one because it allows them to be hung close together to save space. Wreaths can also be stacked and stored in plastic storage containers/totes but will flatten and require fluffing and re-shaping when you take them back out of storage.
